Jon Beckloff

Founder, Executive Director

Jon has always had a passion for serving his community. Jon received his commission as a Deputy in Oklahoma this year. He is slated to graduate in December 2024 with his CLEET Certification. In December 2020 Jon launched the foundation with a simple goal. He wanted to create a way for citizens to provide support to first responders. Jon has received several leadership awards through his work in his career, as well as his service to his community. The Project Tribute Foundation is something that Jon is passionate about and he is always excited to share about this amazing organization.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our first responders. It is humbling to be able to find solutions to their needs and do so in a manner that just makes sense”.

Bryce Wood

Director of Operations

Bryce has had a passion for the military and law enforcement since his youth where he spent most of his high school career taking every law enforcement class available. After Discovering Project Tribute, he knew God was showing him that contributing to this unique organization was the best way he could give back to those who give everything for the safety and security we enjoy every day.

“Our First responders are the only thing that provide order to an otherwise violent and chaotic society. They put out the fires, they defend the defenseless, and have far and above answered the call of duty. They unwaveringly support us. It’s time we do our part to support them. That’s why I chose to become part of the Project Tribute Foundation”

Nick Martin

Sequoyah County Rural Fire Department / Board Treasurer

I began with Sequoyah County Rural Fire Protection District #1 in 2017 based around Gore OK. I grew up around the fire service my step dad was a chief at a volunteer department for 20+ years in western Oklahoma. I dove in deep the past few years knocking out FF1, FF2, SW1, SW2, OFS S130/180/190, Instructor 1, and SCUBA Open Water. I also do a lot of courses for SallisawNow coalition teaching other first responders and schools about narcan as well as helping teach FFs though OSUFST.

“I found PTF while searching for grants for stop the bleed kits for our Swiftwater and Widland FF’s, met Jon about a month later when he delivered our kits, and knew I wanted to help make this initiative grow after hearing what PTF was all about.”

Sierra Compton

Bartlesville PD / Advisory Board Chair

Sierra Compton began her law enforcement career at age 22 and is currently a night shift officer at Bartlesville Police Department. Sierra has an associate's in criminal justice and wanted to become a police officer because being a police officer is about service to others.

“Being a first responder is a challenging career that can transform your life both positively and negatively. I knew Project Tribute would allow me to help my kind. Project Tribute is very transparent, and that's what I admire about the foundation. If anyone has questions, people are welcome to sit in our meetings to learn about the foundation. Project Tribute Foundation is unique in its way, and we've accomplished a few things in a short time. I can't wait to see where we go and what we accomplish.”.

Curtice Spencer

NREMT Elk city fire and ems/Roger Mills County EMS/ Grant Writer

I began my career as a first responder in 1995 as a Paramedic and Police Officer in Texas.  As most first responders find out when you get that itch and have a passion for service to others it  never goes away no matter how old you get.  I transitioned to the private sector in 2009 and after moving to Oklahoma in 2018 the passion to serve again presented itself.  I went back and re-certified as a NREMT and joined my local volunteer fire department and County EMS.  I saw the need for training, equipment, and knew I could help by grant writing again.  I am currently serving on three services in Western Oklahoma and I'm working as a business development director for an auto dealership group.

"I was introduced to Project Tribute through the team at Refuge Medical.  I have been writing local department grants and getting them the needed medical equipment and training that budgets could not cover.  My mission is to make sure every first responder has an IFAK and the knowledge to be able to use it in a critical situation.  I am a firm believer that training should never end and you are never out of the fight. NEVER GIVE UP."
